Privacy policy

This policy explains how Rev Media, a trade name of BrandRev Media & Designs Inc. ("Rev Media", "we", "us"), handles personal information collected through revmedia.ca. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• Information you send us. When you use our forms we collect your name, business name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in and your message. We also keep what you send by email, phone, text or WhatsApp.
• Usage information. If analytics is turned on, Google Analytics collects pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. It uses cookies to do this.
• Server logs. Our host may record IP addresses and request details for security and reliability.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare audits, quotes and proposals
• To deliver and support the services you buy from us
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your enquiry for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the site: FormSubmit (delivers form submissions to our inbox), Google Analytics (site statistics) and GitHub Pages (hosting). These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.

Cookies

The site itself does not need cookies to work. Google Analytics, when enabled, sets cookies such as _ga. You can block cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and for our ordinary business records, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it. Email info@revmedia.ca and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

We limit access to enquiry information to the people who need it and use reputable providers with encrypted connections. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
